Had a lot of emotion while watching this. I used to root for Da Bears when I lived in Chicagoland. Spent three months or so taking care of a uncle who lost a leg, arm and part of his skull to a German panzer tree burst which also wiped out 6 men from his 8 man squad at the landing in Anzio. Had to take care of him before he went into the nursing home up the street in late 1994.

And we lived in a suburb of Milwaukee the first ten years of my life up through late 1969.

I did think I was going to be out the first week of the Survivor game when I saw that score of 0 to 20 in favor of Da Bears.

Packers face Vikings next week and I lived in Minneapolis for 5.5 while getting a law degree and working at the U of MN Law Library.

Also another tough one for whom to back as far as emotions are concerned.

Official Site of the New York Jets

Jets are doing well tonight. My 2nd or 3rd cousin-- my father's father's brother's grand kid-- used to be the General Manager of the NY Jets. John Idzik, Jr.

He is with the Jags now.

Lost about 40 of our survivors in the first week. Would have been more if not for the great work of Aaron Rodgers to pull 21 points out of his team mates the last quarter against Da Bears. Great end to the game, 23-24.

Angry Moderator. Harassment by People in the Survivor League.

The continued cyber bullying by a quite nasty group of people on the message board of the TOTV NFL Survivor League is very disturbing. First the use of names creating to deliberately upset me and then the continued stalking and harassment online. Very sad. This harassment also looks organized via e-mails or however this group communicates with each other.

I am just letting the Moderator know about this problem. And I believe some of these people are TOTV posters or were before they were kicked off.

Thumbs up

Down to 36 from 99 at the very start of the TOTV Survivor League a few weeks ago. Some tough breaks with upsets this past week. How about the Bucs and the Jags! Quite the unexpected outcomes.

Good luck this week, survivors!

For some reason it is only 98 who signed up. Not sure what happened there. 36 survivors as of Week 2 out of 98 who started.

I have often been kicked out by the second week. Usually because I backed New Orleans or Pittsburgh and they did not come through for me and others who chose them to win.

This cyber bullying continues. And it looks like it definitely breaks the FL Statutes against cyber bullying.

Down to 97 from 99 Survivors listed. With 36 still eligible to play as of 9/21/2018 Friday 10:06 PM.

Good luck this week.

Book club is the MVP of Patriot wide receiver Malcolm Mitchell's career - YouTube

Whenever I think about CBS News I often remember fondly Steve Hartman's report on Malcolm Mitchell, formerly of the Patriots, and his love of reading.

This week is looking to be a very tough one for many of us including me with my pick of the Minnesota Vikings. 27 - 0 in favor of the Buffalo Bills. What did Jeff Glor know?

I'm in a $20 Suicide pool with 7,000 people. There are 3800 left and 2800 have MIN!!!! Also a lot of people in the next 1000 have JAX and Philly.

My ship may finally come in!!! Culver's Tilapia Sandwiches on me!

I feel like that HOU coach is giving Todd Bowles a run for his money as worst coach in football. How does that guy keep his job. They look awful. And with all those guys on D???

Well about 20 of us are out including me. The experts sure got that Bills-Vikings game wrong. All of them that I checked had the Vikings to win. And the line was 16 or so for the Minnesota Vikings.

I see four people changed their names on the Survivor League last night or early this morning after surviving another round. It has been noted. I will make a record of it for future reference.

12 players remain. 4 of these players changed their names last night to ones they know will cause very bad memories to keep coming up for one other player while the other kinder players also see these post traumatic stress inducing names.

Someone made a suggestion that we go back to the way the late ZCaveman had it set up. I would do it all on here figuring out who had won and lost and the like. And the Moderator would be able to keep things fair and above-board to all of the other players.

That seems like an excellent idea of having it next year on this board and not using the NFL site as all kind of cyber bullying has occurred there this year and it does not present an accurate picture of how friendly and fair most of the people I have met here in the Villages since June 2005 really are. It presents an image of some extremely immature and just plain nasty cyber bullies as being common to the Villages. This is an inaccurate image.

Default Winner from last year's name used after he lost.

It also upsets me that the winner from last year, the poster using the name Gene Coppola, had lost this week but now is back after a friend of his wrote that name in as a handle.

That seems like cheating as do the three names these posters changed their names to those they well know are targeting me as a means to bring back very painful memories involving decades of very intense experiences.

It is OUTRAGEOUS behavior.
