Default Delete Reply in a Thread?

I wanted to create a new thread, unfortunately I posted a reply in another thread. Can I delete that reply so that I can create a new thread? If so, how do I do that?

Thank you!

Easiest way , just edit the post by deleting the words. Then enter ///.

I don't know the logic, but you can never completely delete a past. Your name will always stay as a poster on that thread.

As Bogie suggests, you can delete the words in a post, and put three symbols in their place, e.g., ***. or ... or 333 or ///
