Default Deleting your own message

When I click on the edit/delete button on a post I wrote, it takes me to my message. I can figure out how to edit it but not delete it. I try deleting the content of the post and then it says it’s not long enough. I can’t find an actual delete button anywhere. Can someone point me 8n the right direction?

Cannot be done. Some people just type in ///. You can't unring the bell.

There is no right direction - you just keep going in circles

Would be nice to know what was there before the person thought better of it and replaced it with ///

If you /// after someone has quoted the post, it lives on.

Try this, go to EDIT your original message, manually delete all of the text, then enter any 3 characters, your original message is gone, and the new 3 character message is all that remains.

If you want your message to disappear just edit it to include some inflammatory political comment. Presto, gone.

People should think before they write something , because for better or worse you should own it

If you are the original poster and want it deleted you would have to click the red triangle and send a request for that.
