I know social media is often quit unsocial and uncivil even, but this on line paper was the most shocking filthy explicit name called and references to sexuality that are shocking in their detail... of course they spell the words incorrectly, use spaces to separate letters, etc. I suppose to avoid censorship, but.... what I read on that sight goes so far it nearly made be a believer in censorship... which I am not, so I just don't go to that sight for news anymore...easy solution ! But I was amazed that such things are allowed.

I agree that that certain news site goes way out of bounds in details. Unnecessary details, poor writing, spelling, and grammar. No journalism experience. However, I don't subscribe to the 'Daily' paper because it is way too full of fluff, ads, home listings, etc. I
would not have hours a day to skim it. Other than the TV news (and their websites), that 'certain news site' provides me with a lot of local info I wouldn't hear of otherwise. There are not many sources here for local news stories. I like to stay informed of crimes, developments, upcoming public works activities, etc. For instance, today noted upcoming plans for road work in The Villages that I wouldn't have known about, unless I resorted to reading town websites. The graphic details ruin the news site you mentioned, but I can scroll by.
