Default Best Route: TV to NJ

I know this has been discussed many times and I have tried the search function with no luck...so I would appreciate your help. What is the best route(s) to take from TV to central NJ? Thanks.

Instead, of working my way out to 95 and just going north we too 301 to 10 to 95 to 77 to 81 to 78 East. It would be a major relief under better conditions. We did this for the first time during the Christmas holiday up and back at a prime time. It was rough but at an off-peak time, I think this route is much better than just getting to 95 and going north. We avoided Washington D.C. which made the trip much nicer but spent oodles of time in jams because of accidents.

Good Luck. I did the directions from here going North and did not proofread for absolute perfection. It's a ballpark. Use a map or Google to perfectify my post. Just to give you an idea.

Default Traveling to TV

We lived in Ocean County. We left at 3 am and traveled down 70 to 95. Hit Washington at 7 am and had no trouble passing through. Drove to Savannah before starting out the next day for TV. Took 10 in FL to 301. Generally best to do on a weekend.

Leave early as you can on Sunday morning, 3-5 o'clock. You can also enjoy the auto train for an adventure!

Took the same route from Toms River. Went to bed at 7pm Friday woke up at 1am on the road by 1:30. All the stars aligned....pulled in our driveway at 5:15 pm Saturday. My worry now is the ride home. I’m not sure I can avoid Washington traffic. May just try and make it to Richmond and leave early the next morning.
