Default Cruising on Norwegian Cruise line

Is anyone going on Norwegian Sun on 12/2 out of Port Canaveral. And has anyone been on the ship recently?
Thanks

We have been on NCL many times. Great ships, lots of variety of food establishments, O'sheanas is the free restaurant and is always open.
The thermal suites are awesome and have windows, unlike princess.
They also feature a different play on each ship which we enjoy more than vegas type performances.

The Manhattan Room restaurant is free and has a band while your eating for old time dinner and dancing, thats my favorite.

These things are on the ships we have been on, mostly 7 nighters. We did go on the Sky and it didn't have all these features, 3 nighter, but it was still fun.

We like the auction bidding after you book. We always bid or a higher cat, or spa included and have always won.......of course we paid or it, but not as much as we would have when we first booked.

were leaving on the new Encore on the 12 of Jan and can't wait.

Anyway you look at it, you'll have a great time.

We haven't been on it since it was "refurbished" in 2018.

Hopefully they did an extensive job as it was really run-down - gloomy inside and rusty outside.

We never did get a hot meal - everything was tepid at best - and the shower curtain clung to you like a limpet.

Resolved there and then never to go on Norwegian again.

We were on it just couple of weeks ago and it was ok. Food in restaurant was good just ok at buffet. Smell of smoke permeated deck 7 as the casino was all smoking and you needed to go through to get to other side of ship. We actually had a woman go over board while at sea..they rescued her and she was fine..just very drunk.
Found entertainement to be pretty good..comedy show two nights out of 5. Liked the new port "Freeport"..very nice..clean. This was our first time sailing w Norwegian... All in all I prefer RCCL.

we also like Royal, but being as old as we are, we don't think that all the extras, zip line, ice skating, and surfing, that you pay for in the higher cabin price are really worth it to us.

If only we could have done that 30 years ago.

We just didn't think the food was worth the extra price and they don't have thermal suites.. the shows were good.
