Default Free Bus to Ports and Great Customer Service by Yankee Trails!

One of the great perks you get booking a cruise with Yankee Trails is a free bus to the port and free parking. The bus picks you up at Rural King in Leesburg (Also at Belks ) where you can leave your car for free and then drops you right off and picks you up at the port gate.

But beyond that, I in a Senior moment (been having more lately) picked up the wrong suitcase (same color, size, shape, Material and with a red ribbon on top) at the Miami port on departure on Monday. About 45 minutes into the return trip back I received a phone call from MSC Cruise line asking me If I had my suitcase since they had a suitcase there with my name on it. They asked me to check the suitcase but of course, I told them I couldn't I was on a bus on the TurnPike. The driver of the bus overheard me ( 6 people total on 56 passenger bus) and pull over and checked the suitcase and found I had taken the wrong one. The MSC agent wanted me to return to the terminal with the suitcase which I told them was impossible then asked me to have the driver stop and take a Taxi back which also seemed impossible. I told MSC the driver had a bus the next day and they would drop it off at the terminal and pick up mine. They weren't exactly happy about that solution but at the time it was the best that could be done. After another 5 Minutes on the turnpike, the Bus driver informed me another one of their busses was coming south and they would transfer the suitcase at the upcoming rest stop that we were almost at. I called MSC and told them of our plan. However, it was too late and the driver passed the rest stop - Oh NO! The driver then called the South bus to turn around at the next exit and meet this bus at out next North Exit. The driver pulled over at that exit and transferred the suitcase when the bus arrived. The South driver wasn't going to Maimi but agreed to continue and drop off the suitcase and pick up mine. The next day we picked my suitcase at Yankee Trails owners house.

Thanks again North Yankee Trails Driver Jose for the quick thinking and contacting the south bus and Thanks again to South Yankee Trails Driver Frank for turning around and transferring and delivering the suitcase. This I'm sure isn't the norm and the timing (call from MSC about time buses were about to cross), and the drivers quick thinking clearly helped.

WOW talk about a miracle and customer service it doesn't get any better than this. I, of course, gave both drivers a nice tip and highly recommend them for cruises. They also do other trips.
