Default From here to Miami if you don't want to drive

I did a little research, and I might be wrong but here goes:

Amtrak has a bus from Spanish Springs that takes you to the Lakeland Station. From there you transfer to a train to Miami. It's around $100 round trip. I like train rides.

Greyhound has a bus from Ocala to Miami that is around $36 one way. Getting to Ocala could cost as much as going the rest of the way to Miami.

Wouldn't you think that Greyhound would make The Villages a stop? I sent them that suggestion.

I heard someday Amtrak would be nearby.

The Amtrak bus picks up in Wildwood and delivers to Lakeland to meet the train. As for the train it speeds along without a lot of stops until you get to West Palm Beach. It's comfortable.
