Default Looking for a nice hotel in the Roanoke Rapids NC area

Hotels off of 95 can always be iffy, as we’ve discovered. Any recommendations on a very nice place to stay within five miles off of 95 or ten miles from Roanoke? Thanks.

Stayed years ago at the Hampton inn. Average quality. More choices in Rocky Mount

If you can push that drive a few more miles to Exit 121 - our favorite is Fairfield Inn [Marriott property]
Fairfield Inn and Suites - 4915 Hayes Place West, Wilson, NC 27893 - Exit 121 - Interstate I-95 in North Carolina - iExit

Close by restaurant is Cracker Barrel across the street - but many more a short ride down the road from there.

For Upstate we avoid 95 and cut over to 26/77/81 based on what Waze recommends. Stopping near Roanoke on the way up.

Thanks for the replies, but we’ll be heading north. We’re looking at Roanoke Rapids or north.

Agree. Rocky Mount does have better selection of hotels and places to eat. We traveled from VA to FL for a number of years and would stay near Fayetteville, NC or push up to Rocky Mount, NC. You'll find a place their that y'all will be pleased with. Safe travels!

Go on Airbnb for better choices, privacy at probably the same price
