Not Carnival bits CDC 2 day requirement for all cruises
All cruises must follow it's a CDC order.

Cruises mandate crew and passengers being vaccinated and tested. So the ship itself is safer than most places. Getting off and touring locations may be another story. However several ports now have requirements to be vaccinated to be allowed to disembark. Cruises? If one is vaccinated and takes care, why not? By far the highest percentage of vaccinated people than any venue any where else. |

PCR tests are completely invalid, that's why as of January 2022, FDA will stop using them. They don't distinguish between Influenza and Covid, and FDA knew that, they just wanted fake number to create all they hype.

After staying at home for 16 days we went to Paramount Urgent Care on 466 near Rolling Acres Rd. We waited our turn, got the test and were told we would get a text in 2 to 4 hours. We drove home (15 minutes) and 10 minutes later got texts that we were negative. So if you have a little patience, it was fairly easy. Best wishes.

CDC encourages use of new tests that detect both COVID-19 and the flu

New guidelines from the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) withdrawing their request for Emergency Use Authorization for a coronavirus test introduced in February 2020 do not mean that these polymerase chain reaction (PCR) tests have failed to differentiate between COVID-19 and Influenza, as users online claim. Rather, the agency is advising the adoption of new tests that can check patients for both SARS-CoV-2 and Influenza viruses.

[QUOTE=Arctic Fox;1998040]Your cruise line may require a PCR test - available at CVS drive-throughs, but have to make a reservation
Procedure was fiddly but straightforward and took about ten minutes per person Got our results within 36 hours - they had said 24-48 We has same exact experience, Did receive results in 24 hours. At airport there is COVID testing and they told us that tests come back in 20 minutes. Not sure but do beleive that it was a PCR test. |

[QUOTE=La lamy;1998488]I did a PCR test at a drive-thru clinic beside WAWA on 441 (did it in golf cart!). I got my results the next day. Easy. Not sure if they're still there though.
Their tent is gone. Ironically they left just before recent surge, |

[QUOTE=Rosebud1949;1998618]Cruise From Florida !!! the highest Covid Rates and deaths in the USA , lets spread the virus about and spend time with others at close quarters....... and bring it home again
Due to Mr. De Santis' continued insistence that cruise lines could not require a vaccine, took cruise out of Seattle. All passengers were required to be vaccinated and have a negative PCR test. Also ship was at 60% capacity. Felt safer that when I go out around her. |

We did an online Walgreens scheduled appointment time for the next day. Done quick in Drive Thru Window, and results within hours!
