If I wanted to plan a drive from TV to MD what would be some recommended stops along the way?

Are you talking overnight stops, tourist attractions, food/fuel stops. Try to be more specific as to what you are looking for.

Depends on your interests. There are a wide range of civil war battlefields, cemeteries and military museums on the way. There is the whimsical like the worlds largest paper clip. Then there is Savannah, Charleston etc for classic southern experiences. If you are on a timeline that will impact your trip, if not, turn off the GPS or set it to ignore toll roads and highways, point your hood north and explore.

We are on a time line so I am looking for highlights. Where is this paper clip?
