Default Visiting seattle area

We recently did so and enjoy visiting the northwest USA. Took advantage this time of a great "guide service" that has recently been formed by a gentleman by the name of "Nate". His profession has been in technology but he has always wanted to form an organization that specializes in offering help to the Seattle area visitor.
Nate has on his staff, local residents that contract with him to offer a personal guide service. For example, if you wanted to visit Mt. Ranier--the guide would pick you up at your hotel and take you there. If you were into hiking, you would tell Nate in advance and he would match you up with a hiker as your guide.
Nate's goal is to make the visitor as comfortable as possible and take away a lot of the hassle of trying to find the best way to visit local places and also get the " best deals" on admissions, etc.
Although we did not rent a vehicle from Nate, we did find out that he does that also. We COULD have had him pick us up right outside the door of the airport and obtain our rental car from him--at a reasonable price.
We did use his guide services when we disembarked from a cruise. He had one his guides pick us up at the cruiseship port and we toured downtown Seattle, with the guide then transporting us to the airport for our flight home.
We had never used a "local guide service" before and it was a great experience--very relaxing! We were actually Nate's 26th customer, as his service is that new. He has long range plans to expand his business to other cities and, in fact, he recently notified us that he has expanded to the Sacramento and San Francisco areas.
