Be glad they care enough for you, to take the time to write. That's what you should have taken away from their concern.

Once again proving though..."no good deed goes unpunished." :ohdear:

Ingredients of impossible burger: soy protein, potato protein, coconut oil, sunflower oil, and heme (an iron-based plant and animal byproduct). So it's not even actual potatoes, or actual soy. It's all overprocessed chemically-extracted additives. There's also wheat gluten in it, which means anyone with gluten intolerance needs to shop elsewhere. They can't even have the patty on a plate with no bun, like they can with actual meat.

I did not claw my way to the top of the food chain to eat grass and leaves!

Teach them what God has told us, "Every moving thing that liveth shall be meat for you; even as the green herb have I given you all things." GENESIS 9:3

That green herb increases the meat consumption. [emoji6]

Choices

My old dad was a meat and potatoes guy and lived into his 90's before he got bored and decided to give up shooting for 100. Sure, I have eaten meatless lasagna, margarine instead of butter, but let's face it the real deal is the best. If eating meat and dairy products limit my lifespan to the 90's, I guess I would rather live happy than to live long and miserable. Eat what you wish, but don't force me to change. I do not read the fat or sugar content on labels either.

I agree, individual food choices that’s what it’s all about. When you look in a grocery, there are many choices today that didn’t exist just a few decades ago. “The philosophy of the school room in one generation will be the philosophy of government in the next”. Abraham Lincoln. Perhaps this may include what is taught about food choices too. Just saying...

This is TOTV!
The title of any post is just a guidline, until The Exterminator moves in.
You must keep up. The subject has now morphed to the book of Genesis!
Mind you, when they became a band I thought they were a bit overated! :icon_wink:

Many people are guided as to what they can eat by religion. The Hindus and cows, the Muslims and pork etc but as far as fake food goes, it’s just another choice in my opinion. When husband brings it home (he likes to experiment) even the cat doesn’t touch it.

Not these days.

Now back in high school though...... :D

From what I've read however, the potency these days is much greater...than the harsh tasting stuff back in the late 60's/early 70's.

When it comes right down to it though, I would much rather be around those who are smoking/eating pot and just want to mellow out while craving munchies... any day...over the drunk who wants to fight everyone after a couple of drinks.
