Love the quality of the meat and fish.
I don't buy too much produce there though ($$$).

Keep an eye out in the next week or so for their advertisement for pre order of fresh organic turkeys.

We bought 2 last year and they were excellent.

Their turkeys are Bell and Evans and I think are truly wonderful.

It's the closest thing we have to Whole Foods and carries many items, including produce, that can't be found anywhere else around TV. I for one are glad they are there when I want something other than cheddar, swiss, and gouda. Baby bok choy that you can saute in a pan? maybe they have that somewhere else. (Saw it at Ocala Saturday market).

I don't do my everyday shopping there, but I do go after their specials and their cheeses and pates, organic cream, produce not available elsewhwere and will be ordering my turkey. Glad we have many choices around here.

I stir fry the baby bok choy too. Try the baby eggplant. I need to revisit Brownwood square on saturday mornings. I know last year I bought some Asian veggies there. I want to learn about Latino veggies and roots and how they are prepared. I only went to Save A Lot one time but I saw veggies and fruits that are new to me, Any thoughts?

Lemme think. I'm out of town right now. I have used that big cilantro that they seem to have everywhere--put it in stir fries and added to salads. And I like the crunch of jicama (sp?) in salads.

Although not latino, the best ginger root I ever had came from the Waterfront Market in Key West (don't know if it's still there due to lease dispute), which is/was a smaller version of TFM. I think the difference was that it was extremely fresh.

I'll try the eggplant suggestion. Thanks!

Love Fresh Market. They are catering my Thanksgiving dinner and they are quite reasonable. Quality is better than quantity

So now I know what it stands for: The first word was Too and the last word was Much.[/QUOTE]

Was the middle word a descriptine word?

I was at Fresh Market this morning shortly after they opened. There was a long line for the hamburger/chopped beef and their milk sale of the day was Almond Milk (don't like flavored milk). I purchased several items, including a Stollen - the Stollen was an excellent price, much below Yahala's, but more than Aldi's. However, checking out was a nightmare, only one cash register open until the Manager came and took over a cash register.

Their selection of high end items is excellent, but their management needs help. Publix is like a well oiled machine compared to FM ............
