How to create a default date range for google search – The Flex Guy

I looked up a relative that gets in the news quite a bit and it worked.
I would be afraid to miss highly relevant, but maybe older, results. I rather control my own searches.

You still control the results just like before. The difference is that instead of posting everything that is ranked by google it ranked by everything a year old which is what I want at least 90% of the time. If I want to see everything I go to Tools and select Anytime.

That is fine if it works for you. I prefer to see everything Google deems relevant and filter down myself.

My mom ordered them every year for us for Christmas. We finally told her, save your money. They are terrible. Don’t waster your money.

Having lived there, I can honestly say...

The wind doesn't blow in Omaha...it sucks!

Omaha Steaks Review for 2017: The Century-Old Steak Experts - Sous Vide Guy

The author emphasizes the skill of the chef and Sous Vide cooking. If this is a new cooking technique to you it means that the steak is in a vacuum bag, you put the bag in a pot of water that is held at 140 degrees. It does this with a special device you attach to the pot that keeps the water hot and circulating. After a long time, you remove the steak and sear in a hot skillet.

Very informative.

The part I'm not real thrilled with, is the suggestion that one needs to buy a sous vide machine...to take full advantage of the process.

Especially given (per the link)...

...the meat takes significantly longer to cook (A 12 oz. NY strip takes a little over two hours)...
I'm wondering if there's a way to get the benefits of, and come close to, sous-vide-cooking (even the 'cheapo's' are about $100)...with using only normal pots?

The great deals they offer are acceptable but for us, yet a disappointment compared to past orders we have placed with Omaha. I'll bet if they had the brains to put a store in The Villages that they would do a brisk business. For now, we are very happy with Sam' for meat and Seafood, especially the Shrimp that taste like Tilapia, sorry I mean like Lobster.

I would pass on the Omaha Sale. Sorry.

Good job spring_chicken, you beat me to it.

You can cook them on a grill or whatever way you want. I think what the guy is saying is that if you overcook the meat don't blame the meat.

Listen to this podcast from Americas Test Kitchen I found a little while ago. Sous vide basics with America’s Test Kitchen | The Splendid Table

I believe in that show. The cooking style is not just for meats and fish. You can make perfect yogurt. They are working on a cookbook. It may be out.

You can't make your own device for less money. The temperature has to be exactly what you set and you need to circulate the water. They said not long ago the equipment cost $1,000.
