Cains
Only Cains Mayonnaise for me, but it's exclusive to New England and NY. Whenever friends visit, I beg them to bring me a jar or two. You can get it online, but you pay triple the price...

Miracle Whip
|
I like whichever one is buy one get one free.
|
Hellmans only, We tried dukes and didn't care for it.
|
Mayo is, simply put, egg and oil. Miracle whip has a unique flavor. This Jersey Girl grew up on Hellmans although my mother-in-law made Cole slaw using Miracle Whip and it was amazing. It’s actually a salad dressing according to the label. It’s good with anything with a tomato IMHO. Aren’t we happy to know that we have choices?

Hellmans vs Dukes
For me Hellman's has a tangy taste, whereas Duke's is creamy and smooth. Duke's is the only choice for a southerner, which you now are!

Have you tried Blue Plate?
I am a Miracle Whip person from childhood. I never liked the flavor of Hellmann's mayo. About a year ago I tried Blue Plate because MW what not available. There was no turning back! I just love Blue Plate, it has a mellow real mayo flavor similar to Miracle Whip.
Blue Plate Ingredients Soybean Oil, Distilled Vinegar, Egg Yolks, Water, Sugar, Salt, Calcium Disodium EDTA (to Protect Quality), Natural Flavor. |
Dukes is the ONLY mayo allowed in my house :-)

Cains is best. Couldn’t get Hellmans at the small country store when at our Maine house. Tried Cains and loved it. We are not mayo snobs but when we can get Dukes or Cains that is what we prefer. Hellmans not so much
|
Dukes is the best. Never heard of it til we moved to FL.
|
We prefer the taste and texture of Duke's to Hellman's. We grew up on Hellman's and MW but tried Duke's our first winter in FL because it has no sugar.
