My VPN can usually get me past any blocker worldwide, but Publix has stuffed it.

Will never know what a Publix-deli-hot-honey-chicken-tender-sub looks like!

Like any of their other subs but the chicken has a red and brown sauce on it.

The word "Hot" and not "Medium" or "Mild" in the description of the sub is a good first clue.

Hot honey is not all the same. My great aunt made hot honey chicken, spices meld better when honey is hot. Have had some restaurants that the honey glaze was the only hot part about it. Then had some that the hot homey spice couldn’t take a second bite until someone put the fire out.

We also used hot honey for sinuses and colds. Honey was the soothing part hot clearing anything that ails you.

So hot honey chicken of the south could equal healing of matzah soup.

We tried the Chicken tenders at PDQ in Colony Plaza for the first time yesterday and they were excellent. They have a golf cart friendly drive up window and you can choose from several different sauces.

I can't tell if you're complaining about the heat, or just posting about it for general info. Either way, the first clue should have been hot-honey-hot. What did you expect? Some of us like spicy heat. Generally, spicy in TV means "not so spicy" which is a bummer for those who like some heat. I've had Publix honey hots and they are indeed spicy...good spicy...IMHO.

PDQ has very good boneless tenders with many sauces available. The first Monday of every month veterans get anything on the menu for half price and that includes anything they order, not just their meal.

Publix and most other places fry all kinds of stuff in the same oil. Be careful if you’re allergic to anything
