Wonder why suddenly yeast is in such short supply? Been looking for almost a month at Sams and Aldi and have not seen any.

Default What! No yeast?

I’ve had trouble finding yeast for several weeks and walked into WinnDixie about a week ago in LSL and found plenty of it both jars and envelopes of it. Just not Fast Acting Yeast which is what I prefer but hey, it works just not as fast and who’s in a hurry these days?

Try King Arthur flour online-they too have been out, but if they have it, their flour for bread making is wonderful!

I think people are making TP with flour, not bread. There are at least six different flours in large and small sizes, that are flying off the shelf. Typically bread is made with all-purpose or self-rising flour. Have you noticed there is no shortage of yeast, which is necessary in making bread. They’re making TP!

I have been going to these small Dollar General stores and finding everything I can’t find elsewhere except TP. But they have stayed stocked on flour. However I drive to the one right outside the villages in Weirsdale. Sometimes it is packed but I have found the things I need. Hope this helps!
