I made delicious individual beef pot pies last night out of leftovers in the freezer. I cut up all our leftover veggies in a bag and freeze them for soup. I defrosted some filet tips and the bag of veggies. Followed my chicken pot pie recipe using the beef. Put the mixture in individual serving dishes, topped with pie crust, baked and enjoyed. Made a nice salad. Easy and so good!

I agree with the chicken picata. Had the lighter version at Olive garden and is was great. Less than 600. Went on line and found a copy cat recipe and made it the other night and it was a hit.

Freshly caught Chesapeake Bay taylor blues, baked w/lemon and Old Bay, with freshly caught and picked back fin lump homemade crab cakes. Sides and salad. Yum. Grandkids helped catch and eat this delicious meal.

NOW I'm hungry!

I made Julia Child's Blanquette de veau (veal stew) the other day. Creamy and delicious with mushrooms, creme fraiche, mushrooms and shallots (in place of onions). Oh, and dry vermouth. My husband loved it.
