Just skip it if you don't like them. I add them not only because I like them but because I like some crunch in my mixture. Maybe just add some more steel oats?

I did find a very low sugar granola called Bear Naked and used to use the triple berry flavor. But then I wanted to get away from sugar all together and went to the steel oats.

Choice

Our choice is Steel Cut Oatmeal. We never miss a morning without Oatmeal. My wife adds Strawberries, Blueberries
and cut up frozen Bannanas and Ginger. Some times Rassberries in place of Strawberries. Never miss a day without Oatmeal. Great way to start a day.:coolsmiley:

Have you tried it cold? Use a pint jar. Using organic oatmeal, fill it about 1/2 way, add cinnamon, some fruit, and cashew or almond milk just to cover and stir. Put in the refrigerator overnight. It is a great treat!!

PS I also like to add raw nuts.

That sounds good!

McCanns 5 min steel cut oatmeal. I microwave a two/ three day batch for breakfasts. Saves time and electric. Diversify with fruit, etc each day.

me too
I'm doing 6 servings at a time. I add 2 chopped apples to 2 cups of oats to 4 cups of water and then boil. I'm bumping it up next time, why not. I add dried fruit fruit and nuke 1 1/2 minutes. It's a lot easier.
