We all have Turkery, potatoes, stuffing. What else is on your menu?

We have ham, eggplant parmigian, some type of macaroni (shells, lasagna, ....), mac and cheese

Besides the traditional turkey, stuffing, mashed potatoes, cranberry and gravy, I would make tons of side dishes like stuffed mushrooms, mini rice balls, fried Cardones, spinach sformato, eggplant/ricotta rollups, and a few more things I can't remember. Every guest would go home with loads of leftovers. For 40 years I took this week off as vacation and started the cooking early. I thought I was going to miss it. This is our 3rd Thanksgiving in The Villages and guess what -- I don't. Although I do get a little nostalgic.

This year only DH and me. Just the first 5 items and that's it.

Gracie, dear, if I ate all that, and I would unreservedly, I’d be groaning too!

We were six with turkey, druffing, gravy, mashed potatoes, butternut squash casserole, cranberry natch, braised carrots, wine. Janet did the potatoes and a cake, and Mona did the carrots. Robert prepared the squash, and I did the rest. The food was mercilessly punctual (!) so we ate a bit earlier than planned.

Your table is lovely! Is that rose glass?
