Thanks for the reminder, GG. The recipe I have is very similar to this. This soup is wonderful, freshly made or frozen and enjoyed later.

Had it in the Senate dining room back in 1967. They sold it in cans then to take home. Tasty!

Gracie, dear, when I worked at Bank of Boston, this soup was popular in the employee cafeteria.
