OH I like those too...but my favorite is their twin; little round cookies made of sugar and flour and butter and ground pecans, baked and then rolled in confectioners sugar. Some call them Italian wedding cakes and some call them Mexican wedding cakes. I call them yummy.

Publix failed me this year. Their version was too big and flatish and not the real thing. They also had a look alike that has anise in it ...Pheffernusse. I don't like Pheffernusse.

Lace cookies. Up north I belong to a cookie exchange. You make 2 dozen cookies, one dozen gets donated for a shelter, other is exchanged. We gather in the summer to review best cookies, add new recipes, make sure there are no duplicates. Best way to have multiple different homemade cookies for holidays.

GG I love those little white cookies, we call them almond snowballs. My recipe comes from from German great grandmother. But no anise either, yuck

My better half goes bonkers for struffoli. Taste like honey covered cardboard to me. However her and her siblings make it an annual get together to make these little balls. They do the Christmas sweaters and holiday cheer and eat most of the struffoli they just made before the day is through.

Rusty, that’s like asking me to pick my favorite child. I love cookies more than any other dessert!

I couldn't agree more, my wife is my cookie. Plus, as an added bonus, she is not made with white flour and sugar so she is low carb
