Roast beef, mash potatoes, le seur peas and ice cream. Blue claw crabs and ice cream. Sea Bass and ice cream. A perfectly cooked hamburger with perfectly cooked french fries and ice cream. Mozzarella and tomato and ice cream.

It always amazes me how many people love meat loaf. I make it almost every week. It is a great comfort food.

La Souer peas?!?! No, thanks.

However, I adore soft-shell crab. And I enjoy sushi, Wiener Schnitzel, veal chops, and a good hot dog or two. (I just read Nathan’s Famous, a semi-biography of him and his business.).

I never figured out how to eat crab from the shell.

me neither---i use to go to crab parties with the newspapers spread over the picnic table and watch a skilled picker spend 15 minutes for a tablespoon of crab---really?

My father always said, "Eating crabs is just something to do while you're drinking beer."
