So they are replacing one antiquated method for another which in itself is already out of date. What a waste of money.
Have they never heard of remote reading via cellular? It’s been around for over 20 years! I couldn’t believe it when I first moved to TV and got a notice in the mail that I had to dig a space around my meter in my front yard to enable the meter to be read- I thought it was a joke so I ignored it. Sure enough one day they came around and dug up my meter creating a big mess and now I have weeds growing all around it! It’s the 21st century, move with the times ! |
