Smile Nature Walks in the Area?

Where you recommend a person go for nature walks? My husband is looking for scenery, wildlife and nature to see not just a walk. Today they did Half Moon WMA Tram Trails and were disappointed at the lack of real scenery or anything of interest. Is there anything in the area or outside the area that you have walked before that would be good?

Have him try Flat Island Preserve south of leesburg. look for c-25 on the right just after southside shopping center. Nice quiet area. not well attended and over 3 miles of walking trails. Watch out for the armadillos

Silver Springs State Park. We took DW's best friend (who does outdoor education classes) and she was impressed. Catch the glass bottom boats while you are there.

So far there have been a few suggestions, but we can use a few more.

This may sound strange, but Florida National Cemetery is a lovely place to walk thru with lots of trees and such. Certainly is a quiet, peaceful place.
