This is good enough to give me a glimmer of hope, really what else do you need?

So many homes in the southern section are for sale already. People need to wonder why? Just pickup the Daly Sun ( classified) and check out all the ads for resales....and that is just thru the villages real estate. Scary for sure.

Here's the bottom line. Commercial entities...groceries, restaurants, shops, gas stations, etc., are on their own to build. They won't come in until the demographic is large enough to support the cost of doing business. Talk to the people in Fenney about how long they had to wait for non-developer amenities to start coming in. If you build way south, just expect a long drive to anything you need or want. The developer does put in some amenities like rec centers, golf, postal station, and such, but no actual stores for obtaining products you need to live on a daily basis. If you want a fully developed support system...think about buying north of 466A.

It will be interesting to see it come to life. Think about the folks that bought near 466a before any of the commercial development came along, they can compare then to now and I'm confident its a shocking difference between cows wandering around to side by side stores and banks.

There's already a Publix, Winn Dixie, Walgreens, McDonalds etc etc at Lake Harris Square, 2 miles from the Chandler/470 intersection.

I don't think anyone anticipated how they completely relocated and redesigned 470, so should be interesting.

Lake County however may be a different story.

And now Wildwood will not be approving any further building until the sewage plant is completed in 2027. There is a lot of commercial property along Warm Springs that cannot be built on as they have no utilities such as water and sewage. That's why the fire station is still not completed, the urgent care is still not completed, Ocala eye is still not completed, the small plaza at the Bingham Road intersection has not even started and that is also why all those boarded up old houses are still standing. There are more than enough people to support small and large retail but now without sewage it's going to be a long time before there is any further commercial building other than what has already been approved.

OK, so I live in Dabney, which is right next to Lake Denham, am I cracking up? There’s two pools right in the area. Dabney rec and Franklin rec. as far as shopping goes, yes you do have to leave the bubble and go down to Lake Harris, which is five minutes away , 470 & 27, restaurants, Publix, Winn-Dixie so on so forth.

You are not cracking up. Some people use the 'amenity' incorrectly.

None of which are golf cart accessible, right?

It may not matter to you, but there are others who find it very important...

It those businesses you mentioned are already started, the new sewage plant has zero bearing on anything. They have already been approved...
