Default 68 degree temperature versus 48 degree temperature - what to do?

We are in the Keys.much much warmer here. Rethinking this fall and will probably do TV nov and Dec..then to the tropics Islamorada for 3 months. My favorite things to do in TV are golf and water exercise classes. So in Nov/Dec the courses are NOT crowded, and although classes at Mulberry usually do not take place below 60, most days then are still good.

I think Greg was just sharing some experiences, thoughts, opinions, etc., as a lot of posters do on this site.

Greg, I have often thought, aside from the crowds and traffic, the Keys would be a good choice over Central Florida during the winter months. It sounds like you have a good formula that works for you.

He misses The Villages.. It's the kool aid kicking in.

I think he was talking about the temperature. Hope so. I love to kick fanny about age bias.

I'm guessing there is no website called "Talk of the Keys".

When there's a choice, 68 degrees is better than 48. There, I answered the question.

best of both worlds I'd say. We found a nice place called The Palms of Islamorada with a pool and ocean view for $2200/mo. But not much for golfing here. So we'll be in TV for Nov/Dec....all is good

It is small 450sq/ft. But on ground floor and pool/hot tub/sauna work out areas for both men and women. Covered parking and right on the Atlantic ocean. Water aerobics daily at 10AM. SCUBA/kayaks next door. Built in the late 70's but well kept up. Mostly seniors. It is tropical here. So 2 months at TV and three there. Currently we are not in a position to buy anywhere

My wife made all the plans for renting a big house right on the Atlantic Ocean in the keys for 1 month. My family enjoyed the stay I hated the keys and when your staying for a month you can go from one end to the other many times. I'll spare the reader my reason

to each their own. We are water people like to snorkel and SCUBA. Our place here in Key Largo has a fishing canal and many manatees. Next month we go to Parrish Fl for 2 months. But we've reserved our 'special place' in Quail Run for next Nov/DEC.
