CW, you're so lucky to still have your dad with you. When my daddy was 91, I brought him here to The Villages from Los Angeles and he loved to hang around the squares and meet all my friends and listen to music. He actually danced with one of the ladies and thoroughly enjoyed the wonderful lifestyle of the villages. Does he like bingo or pinochle (sp?)? My dad did. There are plenty of activities in the rec centers for him. If my dad wasn't blind, he would have enjoyed playing golf also, but it wasn't possible when he was here.

Enjoy your time with him and I hope I see you at the squares, I'll be sure to dance with him.

Sorry, i just thought your post about a 90 year old man "coming" and taking Viagra, was totally uncalled for in this thread, and not funny.Especially, since 99% of your post are thoughtful, well meaning, and contribute valuable information to the topic being discussed...........................Not this time, and i have a great sense of humor, but that was not funny.

She was just being silly. Give her a break. Pturner is refined and educated and very polite. I'm sure she didn't realize how her post could appear to some people. That is how it is on the Internet. We can't see people's faces and mannerisms when they "speak" on the Internet. Pturner is a fabulous person. I suppose because she is always so funny and well meaning in her posts; one post that some people took as a little off color stood out more than normal. Oh, well. It is what it is. I love you Pturner. Now everyone move on and get over it, please.

It all depends on what he likes to do. Possibly a movie, listening to music in the squares or riding aroung in a golf cart and looking at the beautiful sunsets. Recreation Center activities that he can meet other people who have similar interests.

My mom lived to 93 and she was sharp to the end. Some of were lucky to have parents who lived in their nineties so enjoy every minute that you can.

First off no one ever said that PT wasn't a fabulous person or made any judgment what-so-ever.

Everyone makes mistakes. As far as I am concerned it was over. It's you who are keeping it alive with your praises.
