This thread should have been just a casual conversation about an accident. One poster has to cast a pall by rudely jabbing at the original poster for no apparent reason. Apparently if the question has not be "pre-approved" by his/her-honor, then it lacks merit.

I thought we all agreed to play nice and adopt the "if you can't say something nice, don't say anything at all" policy. I'm being nice by not using the poster's name, but if you are po'd, then yes, it was you.

This is an area in which I would like to see the Admin be demonstrative.

Yes, I think there could be some MAJOR re- directing of golf car and auto traffic lanes around that area. I think safety should be more important.

Yes it would!! If I happen to be driving my cart in that area I would like to know what caused the accident so I could watch my a** when I was driving my cart in that area.

Did the guy in the cart NOT merge into the traffic lane like he was supposed to or did a car make a right or a left without looking?

Inquiring minds WOULD like to know.

The driver ran the red light.

As a former tractor-trailer driver I always warned my family to give way and to watch for trucks because of their size. "Your fault or their fault, it's your a**". The same goes for bike riders and cart drivers when it comes to cars. You've got to be aware and you must give way. It doesn't pay to be right and be hurt.
