We use T Mobile for internet, $50 a month. We still have DirecTV satellite at our home in TV and in Indiana, We pay a bit more, but for us it's worth it. Streaming is a cheaper choice for sure, but can have some drawbacks as well. But don't be surprised if your streaming bill goes up over time. Many of the major streaming services are losing big money due to the increasing cost of programming, so they're increasing their pricing. In my opinion streaming will continue to go up in price and may get to where satellite is. But for now it's a cheaper option

We pay for a much lower "high speed" now, 5 bucks for Peacock, and netflix. Bill is now less than $100.00 a month. We don't watch much TV but, it is all we need. |
Hulu Live TV just raised their prices again and it's only a matter of time before you will be paying cable TV prices with these streaming services.
It's the sports that make cable exhobiorate. Someone has to pay those $300 million dollar contracts. So glad I’m no longer a slave to today's watered-down sports. |

It is sort of like the difference between manual steering and power steering. So streaming is not superior to cable in every respect. They both have their pros and cons. That said I have tv.youtube primarily because it offers a great app for mobile devices and has unlimited recordings. But I miss the xfinity remote. |
