Re: Age grouping
Actually 70 but down here I feel 50.......Yesterday I was teamed up with a guy who was 89 years old on an executive course and he beat me. Now I'm not the worst golfer down here (been playing 40 years) but this guy was phenomenal and he walked the couse..My point is age means nothing down here and you see it demonstrated everyday. Don't worry about living with a bunch of old people, If your not careful they'll beat your brains out......
Oh did I mention that I have some clubs for sale!!!!! ;D

Re: Age grouping
sbennett...I haven't found any official census numbers....TV is probably growing too fast to keep up. On TV's commercial property website they have a population growth chart. In 2000 TV had 25,000 residents; 47,000 in 2004 and 65,000 in 2007. So, that's a growth of 40,000 residents in 7 years. I would say the average age of new residents is probably in the low 60s.
I'm in the under 55 bracket but, as Fumar says, it's all about your mental age. I have played golf, tennis, and pickleball with lots of folks well in their 70s and their spirit and energy is phenomenal. This is not your parents' retirement life...it's a whole different world.
