The o.p. has a right to bring up a situation that was leading up to a fight, and the people with authority to do something about that ought to know. I hope the management of The Sharon are reading and responding.

Also, other readers who see something like this happening in the future ought to have a plan in mind for how to deal with an escalating situation like that, such as get the ushers to intervene, ask for the manager to come, etc.

They probably won't have a reasonable plan in mind if nobody reports that such things are going on in the first place!

The ushers are in the theater and then can see the violations as well as we can. IMHO, getting an usher will accomplish nothing and the inmates will dictate behavior.

All the more reason to voice concerns here, out in the open, to inform concertgoers as to how apparently uninformed or apathetic management appears to be. Didn't used to be.....we respected each other....now, we crawl away from confrontation......it's no big deal because we either have some fear but more likely "we don't want to get involved". The sad part is we grew up in a generation where we wouldn't let that happen, now we pass on to our kids and grand kids that behavior doesn't matter.
