Same for me. Lived here 5 years. Last 11/2 year went from 149 - 157. I thought there was a cap.

There was never a "Cap", there was a Deferral Rate that deferred rate increases above $155/month. This Deferral Rate was no longer sustainable and was removed. it had served its purpose.
