Default American Kestrel - Birding

I spotted a Kestrel falcon dining on a lizard on the wall of our villa. First time I every saw this species of falcon......absolutely stunning color. Has anyone ever gone birding at the Kestrel preserve in TV?

There is a bird watching club in TV and also I'm sure there are Audubon clubs in the area as well. There are Egrets, Cranes and Herons everywhere it seems. There is a tree in the back of our villa that's a roost for doves. They were scared-off for a while by a red tailed hawk. The doves have returned however until the next threat. Lots of fowl to observe. I was just curious if some folks have done some birding at the Kestrel reserve....really interesting birds but I've never visited there although we're not to far away.....which explains our beautiful visitor recently.

My bird book doesn't have a pic of Kestral Falcon...but it does have one of a Peregrine falcon. I have a pic of a beauty standing in the middle of fairway of OBH hole number 6. I bought my camera last year and am having sooooo much fun identifying so many different kinds of birds as the fly in and visti..or are snowbirds..or those that stay all year.
