Nice story Graciegirl. I had the opposite experience. My wife was back north for several weeks lately. I was invited to dinner by a couple we golfed with once a week. I had a great time and the meal was terrific. At first I felt a little awkward but they made me feel at ease and we had a very pleasant evening. When someone is without a spouse for a period of time it is a nice gesture to spend some time with them.

Tell me about it, I've been without mine 28 days.
