Hello… please for your own safety STOP USING A DEBIT CARD. A CREDIT CARD will give you safety a debit card will only cause you pain.

Had similar issue with Credit Card in northern Virginia. Someone ran up about $400 at three businesses on credit card in 2 days before card was frozen; card company covered. Reported to local police who told me it was a waste on time.

About a month or two later, got a call from FBI agent who relayed the following information as it related to my case: my card information was obtained from Hacked credit card reader at drive-through car wash, information sent to China where forged cards were manufactured and sent back to local area where information obtained, then cards sold to local gangs.

An ABC store was one of the businesses where fake card were used and they were able to get pictures of user and tracked them down.

Not sure if FBI normally gets this involved. I think it helped that I lived near FBI Academy and this might have been a training exercise.

Never swipe your credit card at the pump. Always go inside to a clerk.

Gas stations or any other card processor in or around the villages is owned by the villages.. use a credit card or carry a prepaid card ..

Don’t know who my sisters with but told me hers got hacked & they gave her money back but charged here $14. to do it. I told her to dump them & check with my bank. But haven’t heard back from her yet!

Never use a debit card. No reason to even have one except for use at the bank that issued it. Credit cards have rebates and protect you.
