Yes, I remember being there towards the end of September very well for a Life Style visit. It rained for 4 days and the sun never shined. The love bugs were a bonus included in our LS visit for free. We were so depressed, we bought a house.

Your post was great... I did 2 LSV...One in July when it was supposed to be unbearably hot (not) and again in Sept. when it was supposed to rain everyday (not). I closed in January and found no traffic jams or long waits in restaurants. I so look forward to my new life in the Villages.:coolsmiley:

This reply was by far the most sensible. Rain yes but the Love Bugs are a huge Nuisance. Avoid wearing white or light colored clothes.

Rinse/Wash your car within 24hrs, otherwise the bugs can damage the paint if left on. Go to the pool early, and leave before they start swarming around you. Remember avoid light clothes. :welcome:

From June through September is rains most days. But it is usually only a shower or thunderstorm that lasts for an hour or less.
The weather is very consistent. The high temperature for the day is usually about 93. personally, I like it. It is not much different than the summer months in Boston except that it lasts a bit longer.
I'd much rather have that than this brutal cold that we've been having in Feb and March. I'm really hoping that winter ends soon. I can't take many more days under 70 degrees.

I agree, last Sept: hot and rainy.

September??????.....I can't remember what the weather was yesterday.

It does not snow in September in The Villages, unlike Port Clarance, AK where it does snow in September...
