Kitchen Appliances
We had our house built 20 years ago and all kitchen appliances are GE and to this day have not had any issues with any of them.

I had a great appliance repairman before we moved here and we talked appliances because I knew I was going to need new ones. His one most emphatic recommendation was "DO NOT BUY SAMSUNG".
You can't get anyone to service them because the parts are so hard to get and they break down often according to him. |

I have dealt with the Warranty Dept many times, always helpful. I do have to say, yes I stayed very nice, but the Warranty Dept offered no help other than to call Samsung which I guess that's all they could do. But, yup, I got the feeling I was on my own for sure, which I was but it did not feel good with a brand new home and appliances.

Samsung is the worst!
Took one and a half years to get the ice maker fixed. The dishwasher has broke for the third time in three years. 400 each repair. We are just going to get a new one. Other than Tv all other appliances suck bad. Not much help from Samsung and not much service here.

OP: Specifically, what does the microwave do and not do?
It powers on (the display functions). But does not cook? Is that correct? I have fixed four or five of these. It's not my business or hobby, I just wanted a free micro in the work locations that I was at. Fair to say I have gotten pretty good at it. |

Samsung makes appliances that look good and work ok, but when they break don’t try to fix them. Just throw them away.

No.. i have a choice home warrenty that covers everything in my home..i call, they come.
