What, no Trader Joe's, Costco or Wegmens? They did not disclose that when we purchased our home. LOL

Haven't you rumor starters read the Steve Jobs book? There is a whole section in there that talks about Apple Stores, where they put them where they put them and why. Apple predominately chooses mall settings for their stores with very few stand alone or strip mall stores.

Brownwood doesn't fit the mold.

Default While Castle

Wow! That's at least two "rat burgers" they will sell.

Krystal's are ok the buns are too thick. If you ever had fresh white castle right off the grill you know what I mean. Nobody beats white castle. The frozen ones are all right but no pickles if you need a fix they will do. Have to make a road trip to Tennessee to get my favorites white castle and Culver's.

Went to Brownwood Acres yesterday, the original one in Central Lake, MI. The only apple I saw was on a tree.

We'll be there soon too. I spent my summers on Torch Lake 100 yards from Brownwood and would go to the "Honey House" almost every day.

I was going to add maybe the "Apple" store poster heard that Brownwood would have some Cherry or Apple butter and heard the rumor wrong.

I believe the TV demographic is not what Apple would look for as a customer base. The reason they prefer malls is that is where the young folks hang out. You know, the ones with all the money that just have to have the latest devices.

Here is a vote for In-and-Out from a die hard White Castle and Cincinnati chili fan. Lived in Ohio for years but business took me to CA every other week or so. When they put the In-And-Out Burger close to LAX that really made it great for arrival and departure fixes until the next trip. It's too bad that the Trader's Joes front office has a thing about expanding to FL. They are a natural for The Villages.

We used to go to Torch Lake a lot and used to go to Brownwood. It's such a nice area up there.
