An exciting white SUV chase. Much better than O.J.'s. Anyhow, won't be long until Live PD heads our way.

According to Florida Department of Corrections records, Davis was sentenced in 2011 to one year in jail for grand theft, burglary and driving with a suspended license. He was arrested in 2016 for allegedly violating his probation and a moving traffic violation, and last year on battery and disorderly intoxication charges, records show.

I do have to say I liked the takedown at the end, they weren't playing and they sent out a cheaper car to turn around the bad guy.

He backed THROUGH the garage door and took off.

I got an alert on my phone that said "high speed chase, with gunfire..."
OMG, how fast are these golf carts going now???

Seriously, just glad everyone safe.

He stated he didn’t want to go back to jail.

So why did you commit an armed robbery?

Consequences.....I guess it’s a new concept!

Has anyone mapped out the ‘escape route’ from the home...sounds like he covered a lot of territory...but not sure how he got from start to finish.

3.5 miles. Not much to it.

My question is "why are they hiring repeat offenders at our country clubs?" I am all for giving first time offenders a second chance and the opportunity to earn an honest living, but the suspect in question seems to have numerous offenses listed in the media accounts....don't those hiring do background checks anymore?

There is a map of his 6 mile "escape route" in the Local section of The Villages Daily Sun today on page C1. Must have been quite a shock to hear all that commotion of the sirens and helicopters for other drivers on 466a.

How did he buy a gun? He is a convicted felon who is banned from owning a gun.

Private sale/gun-show loophole.

No background check required.

I hope the punishment fits the crime. He needs a good long prison sentence. I feel sorry for his children.
