According to Florida Department of Corrections records, Davis was sentenced in 2011 to one year in jail for grand theft, burglary and driving with a suspended license. He was arrested in 2016 for allegedly violating his probation and a moving traffic violation, and last year on battery and disorderly intoxication charges, records show.

My question is "why are they hiring repeat offenders at our country clubs?" I am all for giving first time offenders a second chance and the opportunity to earn an honest living, but the suspect in question seems to have numerous offenses listed in the media accounts....don't those hiring do background checks anymore?

There is a map of his 6 mile "escape route" in the Local section of The Villages Daily Sun today on page C1. Must have been quite a shock to hear all that commotion of the sirens and helicopters for other drivers on 466a.
