I've been out of toilet paper for ten days now. I'm using corn cobs.

Its very unfortunate that some people still dont get the facts... Keeping everyone else safe requires common sense and a little sacrifice. These are the same people who would demand the bathrooms to be closed at the first confirmed case. Perhaps some of us need to be less selfish and think of everyone else.

It is the woods, just pretend you are a bear.

Two Bills. The sarcasm drips off your response. Keep it up.

Good public restroom experience

I was at one of the town squares recently and used one of two public restrooms they had there.
I opened the door with one of those handicap automatic door openers.
I then put my hand under the wash basin and an electronic eye turned the water on and off automatically.
I blowed-dryed my hands
and left by touching the auto door button with my elbow.
I touched nothing.
This is the way all public restrooms should operate!

Daniel Boon and Davy Crockett never had a problem

Why is it so hard to just be polite?

I've noticed that so many people reply to posts with snarky, cutting remarks. People are asking legitimate questions. Just because those questions may seem dumb to you doesn't mean you have to lash out at them. Everyone is very stressed right now. Would it be so hard to just be kind? Jeez!

Wear a Depends is an option. You can reuse if you don't need it and probably more safe than restrooms. Also our restrooms up North were open yesterday?

Some of that is to keep it light, some is in frustration with the implied "me" in the post and some is because if OP's would think a bit they would answer their own questions.

And they didn’t have English leather either. :ho:

The facility would have to disinfect that area every time a person went in to keep it clean.
The cost would be crazy as well as putting said person in harms way every time they went in to clean. Do what animals do, drip dry. If it is a #2, you should know your body by now and know your timing. If not, stay home.

I'm in the Village of Fenney and have been either cycling or taking long walks most mornings. Prior to late last week, restrooms were available at both the Fenney Putt 'n Play as well at the Archery center. While these two recreation opportunities remain open, the restrooms are now locked. This is making for a difficult situation for those of us who are out on the trails for any significant length of time. I'm at a loss to understand the reasoning behind closing the (individual) restrooms. No one is nearby and there are supplies available in the restrooms to wash and dry hands. Any ideas about why this has happened, and what can be done to reverse the decision?

An excellent way to get infected!!
NO ONE should use public facilities in this situation unless they can be disinfected after each user. They are germ farms and should be locked; just as they are.

The only thing I would do different would be to bring my own paper towel. Those blow dryers spread germs. I was sorry to see TVs changing to these.
