Would you mind elaborating on that? As someone who is researching moving there I’d like your insight. Thank you!

I'll try.

Some folks move here and want every thing new. They spend the max of their budget on the new home. Others sell the big home then, with all the proceeds, find they prefer to find an older, more established area where the properties may be significantly less with lots of upgrades already in, or just waiting for you to make to your taste. These folks often have more, significantly more, to spend on their lifestyle activities.
Different strokes for different folks.
Hope this makes sense.

Who says people are spending there max on new homes I think that is far from what people do when buying at an older age , go Patriots

"Some folks"...

Stop making me defend OBB!

I've found (in my short time in TV) that there is a very wide distribution of housing prices and retirement/disposable income. There is no "one size fit's all"...

I don’t think hardly anybody is maxing out there income whether 55 or 85, if they are they should sign up for financial help classes , Pats win 24/6 I can go out , ride my bike and watch delayed packers / chiefs and tonight titans / Rams I love football

She said "maxing out their budget", not "income"...

I don't rely on what people "mean". I rely on what they "say"...

Well, it is their income. They're able to spend what is there I suppose.

We just moved here a few weeks ago.
Never thought we would move from our beautiful home in Pine Ridge Beverly Hills, but it was too comfortable there and all we did was go in the pool, have cocktails, dinner, and TV. So we moved here for the opportunity to do more things and meet people. So far we haven’t had time to do anything except unpacking and setting up the new house in Citrus Grove.
But we will be out there soon.
G and C

We have been in TV full time since 2012 and originally bought back in 2006 as snowbirds. We were very active then. We are just about right at the median age and your description of your previous life in Beverly Hills sounds like us now here.

Wow!

Wish my folks were still alive, they would be so proud to know that their son is, at last, above average in something.
