Quite a difference in description--we're grown ups -heaven forbid the Daily Sun would print anything that could tarnish the image of LaLaLand

That is what good journalists do, just print facts from valid sources. There may be a couple journalists left who do not give opinions like the mainstream media. |

It seems very strange to me that the online news would not have any mention of this - since they write articles about someone sleeping in the bushes, etc.
The Daily Sun says the police investigated a "suspicious incident" and describe it as a "burglary/battery". It sounds to me it was a person known to the homeowner. The gun issue is not part of the equation here. Who answers the door with a pistol drawn and pointed? Will we find out more details of what the actual situation was or not? |
You answer the door with your hand in your pocket, ready to access your firearm--looks like you have had zero training, when it comes to firearms
I was taught how to shoot by a retired secret service agent who was on the white house security detail. Home invasions are prevalent in Florida. This was not the typical home invasion. Most home invasions have at least 2-3 perpetrators--their intent is to shock their victim by overwhelming force. |
Not sure how this connects to this thread? Stay on Point

Sometimes people sound a little too trigger happy for me.
I love dogs. I can't think of one that ever didn't make me want to smile. How anyone could beat a dog to death in a home invasion is so far beyond my understanding, I just wonder why anyone could do that. Jeffry Dahmer comes to mind. However. This is all based on partial knowledge. Wise people reserve judgment. We will hope this is all a mistake. About the dog being beaten to death. Sometimes most sincere and good people pass on rumors. I will hope it is a rumor. |

2. You don't really know the particulars of the incident, so it's too soon to say whether it was typical or not. 3. Compassion for a defenseless animal victim as well as empathy for the human victim is in order. It is NOT good that s/he had a dog; it is bad that someone beat it to death... if that is even true. |
My carry hand guns are very compact--the dog was most likely a distraction & it broke the bad person's attention
