the restaurant is responsible under law to provide high quality food to the public under strict hygenic regimes.
Let me ask you.
Did you wash yourrrrrr

Nobody that doesn’t work in a restaurant is ever allowed to go in kitchen! Safety issue plus why would anyone just do that? If I worked there I would get the Manager fast reporting YOU as the creepy guy intruding where strangers don’t belong! How would they know you are not intruding in the back to rob them? I think common sense applies in this situation. You could be arrested for trespass.

Sherry8bal 04-06-2022 11:33 AM

You have no business being in the kitchen anyway. I would have thrown you out too!!

Chi-Town 04-06-2022 12:35 PM

Hell hole? Well, if you can't stand the heat get out if the kitchen.

Not on this planet. They don’t want you see what’s going on in kitchen and I don’t want to know… if I did In most cases I would never eat out again.

Gee, I would never enter a restaurant kitchen. What makes you think you could do that?

What a creepy post. Anybody who likes to see kitchens, go to Chick fil A, they love to show you around their kitchens.

Why was it creepy, and a Hell hole, other than it angered you that you got caught trespassing.

Well, at least you shed some "light" on this strange "post", I thought it was some kind of "inside" joke that most on here would not understand. But if it was a person actually trespassing on something in the process of being constructed... well, wasn't that the circumstances of how that tragic occurrence in Georgia ended in the DEATH of that young man... who had (apparently ?) been jogging past a structure under construction for weeks, and stopping, looking (some might say "snooping") around on private property, and it ended in suspicion of "casing the place for future theft" and in a needless death. The person involved in this should (perhaps?) instead of being angry that at least something that tragic DID NOT happen to him ! STOP, THINK, before curiosity ends in tragedy !

OP hasn't stated when he was there, given the creepy comment wondering if it was during business hours, or before opening. Lack.of context leaves zero info other than to bash a business

donfey 04-06-2022 05:38 PM

politely ask an intruder to leave??

How do you know hr didn't? I'd have kicked him out, too.

TeresaE 04-07-2022 04:58 AM

Restaurant need to comply with public health and safety standards. They can’t just let people wander in.

Kgcetm 04-07-2022 05:44 AM

Poor choice of words. You don’t go into the kitchen unless invited.

mrmrsjms1 04-07-2022 07:24 AM

Why respond to this type of post in the first place?

But, I am thinking that the OP will not see any of our comments. Throw a grenade and run away. That's what these kind do.

Why would anyone respond to the OP’s ‘grenade post’ (and you’re correct - that’s what the OP’s post was)? Given the intentional lack of information and background in the OP’s post, no comment(s) will serve any purpose other than to give the OP the satisfaction of having stirred a pot. This is why sports broadcasts have stopped airing instances of streakers and other idiots who run on the field of play. Let the OP’s post die of lack of oxygen....

He should have called the cops. You were trespassing. I’m sure he is disappointed that you won’t be back . Maybe they will post your picture at the front desk so the hostess won’t let you in and everyone can see what you look like.

It is against all State Health Laws for anyone besides employees/inspectors to be in kitchens that serve food to the public. It’s Creepy to say the least…

And then call the police if he didn't leave.

sloanst 04-07-2022 08:48 AM

None employees aren't allowed in restaurant kitchens without the manager's consent for the obvious reasons. The first being sabotage. The second is sanitation.

Bilyclub 04-07-2022 08:54 AM

I'm guessing the OP is the mob hit man who escaped from the Coleman halfway house. He must have stopped at this restaurant on the way down to mom's house.

Not true. Bern's steak house in Tampa gave daily tours of their kitchen before covid pandemic.

Bern's steak house in Tampa gave daily tours of their kitchen and their wine cellar (largest in the world) before covid pandemic. I've been through it a few times.

:ho::ho:

Sorry, but you can't compare an approved and accompanied tour with someone "checking out" the kitchen on their own...

BobnBev 04-08-2022 06:11 PM

Most managers will gladly show you the kitchen, if you ask.

We have been in several including cruise ships but always ask first. Otherwise stand outside the door but well enough so people can go in or out.

NewtoFL 04-08-2022 09:02 PM

😂. I try not to think about that.

Goofy comment?
No goofy post saying this, for someone who reads TOTV and missed all the posts about the new restaurant? Geez?
