Had an experience at Colony last Summer with a Lady in checkout line (next up) that kept going back into the aisles to get more things. The cashier then proceeded to WAIT FOR HER rather than ask me to bring my stuff up. I was going to put all her stuff into my basket and push it into an aisle behind a display--but of course my better half told me that would be rude so I just simmered.

Sometimes I wish we had a column here for bad villager actors, would have loved to snap her pix to post here with the story:)

It isn't nice, and few people would do such a thing, but it's fun to fantasize!

There are a lot of things that happen during the high season that don't happen the rest of the year. I don't know whether it is due to having so many folks here, or whether it is company visiting us and not Villagers, or that folks haven't noticed how nice most people are and act the same or whether people are distracted or whether they don't have the chip imbedded or what.

I love snowbirds. Most of them.
