Is there a real need for them? I have Massey for termites, nothing else, and don't have bait traps. New neighbor bought this year and Massey put in traps. Previous owner did not have them or was told they were needed. Could it be just another way to collect money?

let them have them...saves you or the next guy you hire from pulling them up

there'll be limited damage to your yard, if any, when they remove them

I would imagine how old they are, if they just put them in within year or two probably. My question when bait stations was installed did the owner pay them or renT them?

I had Massey for few years with bait stations already installed. I never seen the change out bait stations. When I stopped service no conversation about bait stations? Maybe cause the previous owners had them installed.

I find it hard to believe Massey installed the bait stations for free? So if there no fine print In contract. say possession 9/10th or law? Now if you got contract signed by you and it says Massey owns the bait stations then I guess they got you.

Just to clarify (I hope) the purpose of these traps - your hope is that the traps are empty all the time. If a termite is found in one of the traps, that is an indicator that you may have a termite problem.

Usually when you want to change over a company, the new company will install their own bait system. That’s how they initially make their money. Did Deans quote you and initial price for starting and then the yearly price for the service?

Are they outdoor bait stations in the ground/lawn for Termite prevention? If so, they might be right. They are green plastic.

Put them outside the garage and tell Massey to pick them up. Easier that stressing over reasonable or not.

Same exact thing happened to us. I pulled out the bait stations and nicely bagged them up for pick up. It has been a year and they never picked them up.🙄

Please tell me how Deans scammed you. Been with them for 8 years. Always reliable.

Massey came and got mine. I didn't notice any holes in the ground.

If they catch an attitude tell them to come and get them and tell them to bring sod to make repairs. My gues is they won’t pick them up.

Pilodent 12-02-2021 08:17 PM

I also had bad experiences with Massey.

Djean1981 12-02-2021 09:17 PM

Shouldn't the prior owners have returned the bait stations? It has nothing to do with you. I don't think you HAVE to give them permission to your property.

Curtisbwp 12-03-2021 05:52 AM

Not reasonable but this is the way mass works.

I purchased the termite protection from Massey it included a termite treatment in the attic. My house is guaranteed to be termite free or they will repair any damage
There is an annual fee to inspect the interior, exterior of the house and the traps
I was told this guarantee and plan is transferable
I would be concerned that the former owner may have had termite issues and would ask Massey if they would continue coverage
I would be concerned that the for
