Default Bears in the Villages

Have there ever been reports of black bears in the Villages? I've read a fairly recent news article (October, 2014 - Orlando Sentinel) of bear reports in Lady Lake, Fl.
Just wondering.

Check the online newspaper. They are reporting bears seen at CR 466 and Rolling Acres.
A mother and her cub. I hope they can be safely relocated.

When I lived there there was one going through Allamanda Rec.Ctr's dumpster, the Game warden said that they come from the Ocala Forest.

Don't feed them. Don't feed them. Don't feed them.
