Default Best GPS units for TV - Hadley

Looked back at the archives, posts indicated that most everyone was getting updated maps for their units. We'll be moving down to Hadley in October and want a GPS unit that will work in that area. Are there any new units or map updates that show that area?

I just downloaded the updated maps for my nuvi 200 and have no problem with it recognizing the newer sections of TV

What version did you use? I noticed Mapquest still doesn't show Hadley.

when my wife and i were in TV in February for our first lifestyle visit, i was amazed that my (older version - c330) Garmin GPS acted like TV wasn't even there.....recently updated the software and it will hopefully ID TV on our next trip to TV in late September

anyone have recent experience with a Garmin device?

Even if a GPS did show all of TV (few show the newer sections yet), it would not help you navigate the cart paths and cart tunnels. You'll still need the detailed street map available from a number of sources for $5 plus tax. If you're serious about TV, be sure to get one when you arrive. Ask your Villages sales rep. They might give you one.
